UPDATE: Link to tonight’s show with Stacy McCain.

Last night, we attempted to have Stacy McCain on The Lisa Graas Show to discuss the Brett Kimberlin story. Both my producer Rebecca Diserio and I heavily promoted this show on Twitter and Facebook. Just as the show started, we experienced problems that Rebecca says she has not seen in two years of doing BlogTalkRadio. As it turns out, BlogTalkRadio’s server which serves my show and some others went down just as the show started. According to BlogTalkRadio, this was not because of a problem on their end. It appears to have been a Denial of Service attack.

One thing that I found very strange was that my calls kept getting dropped even though I was calling in from a land line, not a cell phone. Rebecca and I did a late-night “mic check” show last night just to test to see if we could get through a show. We did experience some residual problems, but otherwise it went okay.

If you are familiar at all with the tactics of the Left and with the Brett Kimberlin story, it doesn’t take much reasoning to come to the conclusion that the likely cause was an attack from the Left on BlogTalkRadio’s server. Of course, we have no way of proving this, but we are coming up short in being able to reason out an alternative explanation. Regardless of the cause, we are going to have a special tonight of The Lisa Graas Show to give Stacy McCain the opportunity to tell my listeners what he knows about the Brett Kimberlin story and to share with you how his family has been targeted. Stacy needs to raise $5000 in the next 10 days or so because he needs to move his family. Don’t miss tonight’s show, folks. If we get shut down, we’ll reschedule again…and  again..and again…until Stacy’s voice can be heard.
