Somebody has to call Ron Paul out. It might as well be me. LifeNews is reporting that Democrats defeated the House’s proposed ban on sex-selection abortion. How about we take a look at the individuals, not the parties? Check out the voting record. Twenty Democrats voted for the ban. Seven Republicans, including Ron Paul, voted against the ban.

Republicans voting against the ban were: Amash, Bass, Bono Mack, Dold, Hanna, Hayworth, and Paul.

So..stop telling me Ron Paul is pro-life, okay? Just sayin’… It is not “big government” for the government to protect our rights from those who refuse to protect them. If the federal government hasn’t the authority to defend the life of a baby, it hasn’t any legitimate authority whatsoever. I would have more respect for Ron Paul if he called to abolish the federal government. As it stands, he believes we should “have” a federal government, but that it cannot defend our rights, not even the right to life of an innocent baby.
