Since my appearance on Fidelis Radio, in which Rebecca Diserio, Lainie Sloane and I all stated that we cannot, in good conscience, vote for Mitt Romney, I am getting some angry communications from people claiming that I am “helping Obama” with this decision. Clearly, some are not understanding my point that Mitt Romney and Barack Obama are the same and so it is not a matter of helping one or the other for me. It’s a matter of their being the same. It’s not my fault they are the same. Perhaps this would make more sense if I explained this with analogy. If you believe abortion is a holocaust, you will understand this.

If you believe abortion is a holocaust, then when Mitt Romney held a fundraiser with the manufacturer of the morning after pill, this would be tantamount to a presidential candidate taking money from I.G. Farben during the Holocaust of the Jews. The I. G. Farben company held the patent for Zyklon-B, the chemical used to gas people, most notably the Jews of Auschwitz.

If you believe abortion is a holocaust, then when Mitt Romney said that it is okay to destroy (a more civilized word than “kill”?) human embryos in the realm of science, then this would be tantamount to a presidential candidate saying that Josef Mengele did good work. Mengele performed cruel scientific experiments on human beings at Auschwitz, most of whom were destroyed (killed) in the process.

I know that a lot of you think Mitt Romney has changed on this issue, but these are recent stories. Would you believe  a candidate had made any kind of change about human dignity if he were taking money from I. G. Farben and advocating for life to be destroyed in the name of science ala Mengele? No, you would not….unless you do not believe abortion is a holocaust. If abortion is the equivalent of a holocaust, then Mitt Romney is the equivalent of a Nazi sympathizer.

If you believe abortion is a holocaust, you could not possibly vote for either Barack Obama or Mitt Romney, as a matter of conscience, could you? I believe abortion is a holocaust, and that is why I must write in the name of a pro-life candidate on election day in November, provided that Mitt Romney is the nominee of the Republican Party as is expected.
