It’s always a bummer when your friends are attacked, but when your friend and his family have to leave their home due to being threatened by a terrorist, it reaches nightmare level. Stacy McCain is not the only conservative blogger being harassed by convicted terrorist Brett Kimberlin, and he won’t be the last. Further, Brett Kimberlin won’t be the last thug to threaten conservative bloggers as long as such people get funding from their wealthy benefactors. Who is funding Brett Kimberlin? I’ve already mentioned George Soros to you in a previous post on this topic. Another person funding Brett Kimberlin is none other than Barbra Streisand.
Ladd Ehlinger writes, via Memeorandum:
Barbara Streisand donated to organizations run by, founded by, or employing the services of, the convicted terrorist “Speedway Bomber” Brett Kimberlin.
Did Babs know who the beneficiary of her money was, and that her money would go to terrorizing journalists who dared to write about the “Speedway Bomber?”
Or was she a rube?
Absent evidence to the contrary, my guess is “rube.” But hey, that’s an interesting headline, too…
My guess is also “rube.”
And what kind of person would donate money to pay the salary of a vicious creep like that, especially when it is so well-known that Kimberlin has spent the past year engaged in a serious of efforts to intimidate those who try to expose the truth about him?
I doubt Streisand knows how her money is being used, but then again, this is what you get when you fund groups that employ radicals. Sooner or later, you’re bound to be funding someone who will resort to violence. As I have noted regarding the Humanitarian Law Project case, the Left is perfectly okay with funding terrorist organizations. Material cooperation in evil means nothing to them. We know this, too, from their unwillingness or inability to see why the Church refuses to fund contraception. Could it be that they don’t understand “material cooperation” or is it simply that nothing is evil to them? You decide. In the meantime, we need to get the word out that Barbra Streisand is partly responsible for Brett Kimberlin being able to pay his rent and to purchase whatever he might need to kill people who get in his way.
