Oh, yea. I'm "THAT" kind of sheep.
I confess to almighty God, and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I am a Catholic news junkie. It’s interesting how this hit me just now. Immediately after I posted an article (here) responding to my friend Carl at Israel Matzav (here) which, in part, explained that anti-Semitism is in no way “Catholic,” Carl posted an article regarding the Vatican and SSPX.
RUH ROH.
Of course, I wanted to immediately respond to that one, too. Searching online for the absolute freshest news re: the Vatican and SSPX so that I might respond intelligently, I came across this article from my friend Frank Weathers:
But obsessing about Catholic news like you are the manager of some Fantasy Church Militant team is pretty crazy. The news can be shrill, and shriller, moving deftly from a whisper to a scream as quickly as a Shelby Cobra melts a set of Gatorbacks while hurtling from 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds. Just like being obsessed with the regular news outlets is detrimental to your mental health, the dreaded MSM, the same is true with all this Vatican insider stuff. I mean just the news and commentaries alone on the prodigals of the SSPX or the errant nuns of the LCWF should be all you need to search out to get a feel for what I mean.
Okay, so…Carl? I have just three things to say to you, okay? First, I love you and Mrs. Carl. Second, I refer you to Frank Weathers. Third…anti-Semitism is definitely not Catholic.
And now….laundry and Prozac.
