Hey, guess who is running for Congress in Georgia! CATHERINE DAVIS!

Catherine was born into a working class family. Her dad was a carpenter and her mom worked as a domestic. Her parents emphasized that studying hard and getting a good education would be key to achieving a better more prosperous life. Catherine followed their wise advice. She earned a full scholarship to Tufts University. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in just three years although she had a double major in psychology and education. She is also an alumnus of the University Of Bridgeport School Of Law. Like many people in our society, Catherine has faced and overcome many challenges including raising her son and daughter as a single parent. Catherine connects with the plight of single parents and her strong faith in God compels her to be an uncompromising advocate.

In 2011, Catherine founded The Restoration Project, an organization devoted to family and the sanctity of life. A former Director of Minority Outreach for Georgia Right to Life, Catherine has sponsored, developed or been instrumental in a number of projects designed to call attention to the depopulation impact of abortion on the black community. The “Black Children are an Endangered Species” billboard campaign in which she was instrumental helped launch a new era of examining abortions impact and roots.

Catherine is a Pastor in the Father’s House, where she has been a member since relocating to Georgia more than seventeen years ago. She is “Mom” to Marcus, Sr. and Mary, and “MeMa to Marcus, Jr. and Joshua.
